Failing Breath: DSS Denies Kanu Access To Doctor

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, is sick, according to his lead counsel, Barr Aloy Ejimakor.

Ejimakor stated this via his X handle. He lamented that the operatives of the State Security Services refused Kanu to have access to his medical doctor following his worsening ailment.

Ejimakor wrote, “Yesterday, during our visitation with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, we found him ill, with shortness of breath, low BP and general malaise.

“For this reason, he requested to see his doctor and we submitted a letter in this regard. Today, the doctor arrived at the DSS but was denied access to #MNK”.

Kanu has been in detention since 2021 after he was renditioned from Kenya to Nigeria. He is standing trial over alleged terrorism.
