Hon Yusuf Gagdi, a Plateau federal lawmaker, is under fire for gifting an SUV vehicle to his teenage daughter to celebrate her secondary school graduation.
The gift, shared in a post by @LeadershipNGA on X, prompted the reaction of many Nigerians.
In the images posted, Hon Gagdi, his daughter, wife, and son were seen celebrating at the graduation venue.
Several comments have trailed the post:
@ourt_destiny criticized the gift, stating, “You can see this lawmaker has lo@ted quite a lot; look at what shape it has produced.”
@habib_mowunti lamented, “Despite the hardship people are facing 💔.”
@abumuonyi96183 remarked, “See where Nigeria lo@t is landing. Oh God, come and save us. This boy is not more than 12 years old, and he’s carrying Nigeria lo@t like this. What if he reaches 20 years old?”
