Nasarawa: Preserve Image Of FRSC, Zonal Commander Charges Personnel

The Zonal Commanding Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, RS4HQ, Jos, Assistant Corps Marshal MA Jatau, Wednesday, charged officers and men of the corps to preserve the integrity FRSC by eschewing bribery and corruption.

ACM Jatau stated this in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital, when he paid a working visit to the FRSC, Nasarawa Sector Command. The visit was a part of his quarterly inspection of commands under his jurisdiction.

He warned officers and men of the corps against sharp practices, adding that anyone caught would be made to face the full wrath of the rules and regulations of FRSC.

He reiterated the Corps Marshal’s strategic vision to improve the corps, adding that, “I caution staff members against bribe-taking or any practice that would tarnish the image of the corps. You must preserve the integrity of FRSC by conducting yourselves properly.”

In her address of welcome, the state Sector Commander, Corps Commander Lucie Samuel-Mhii, expressed her gratitude to the Zonal Commander for his mentorship and guidance. According to her, his visit had “inspired the staff to strive for excellence”. She also commended the staff members for their hard work and dedication to duty.

The Zonal Commander had, during the visit, commended Comdt Mhii for her outstanding performance in Nasarawa State, and emphasized the importance of leadership by example. He also urged senior officers to set a good precedent for their subordinates.

In his speech, Deputy Corps Commander NU Ogbonna, Sector Head of Policy Research and Statistics, thanked the zonal commander for the visit, and called on the staff members to be above board in all their dealing.
