The sector commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, Nasarawa State, CC Lucie Samuel-Mhii, Monday, bagged an excellence award for her sterling performance in service delivery.
The award was conferred on her by the Ministry of Special Duties, Humanitarian Services and some non-governmental organisations as part of activities marking the World Humanitarian Day. The event held at the Government House, Lafia.
Our correspondent reports that the award was conferred on the commander in recognition of her outstanding dedication and commitment as well as her exemplary leadership skills towards selfless services to humanity.
She appreciated the recognition, adding that it would spur her to do more in service to humanity.
Dignitaries that graced the event included the Governor of Nasarawa State, represented by his deputy, Dr Akabe Emmanuel; Mrs Essiet Abiodun, the SSA to the President on Community Engagement (North Central); the first lady of Nasarawa State, Barr Abigail Waya, among others.
