The Borno State Finance Commissioner, Ahmad Ali Ahmad, is dead.
He was found dead in his bedroom on Monday morning.
A statement by the Borno State Government on Monday has also confirmed the incident. There was no indication of the cause of death.

The statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, also said the late Commissioner would be buried by 5 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.”
