Yuletide: Kaduna Police Boss Enhances Security Measures

The Commissioner of Police (CP), Kaduna state command, North-Central Nigeria, Ibrahim Abdullahi, has affirmed the command’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order throughout the festive season.

He said that proactive measures have been put in place to address potential security challenges, reassuring citizens of their safety during the period.

A statement by the command’s spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mansir Hassan,which disclosed these, revealed that,for greater security, the command has deployed personnel of its Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Anti-Vice Section, CP’s Monitoring Unit and Operation Fushin Kada to strategic flashpoints within the state.

The CP also urged the public to avoid actions that could disrupt peace and security of the state.

He warned the youth to refrain from use of banned items like fireworks and other incendiary materials capable of causing fear or unrest in the streets.

He also commended the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders in promoting a harmonious atmosphere across the state.

CP Abdullahi assured the public that the command will continue to prioritize the protection of lives and property, working tirelessly to prevent crime and uphold peace during the festive period and beyond.
