Oshiomhole Wants FG To Ban Products Of Companies That Exited Nigeria

Former Edo State Governor and senator representing Edo North in the Senate, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, has called on President Bola Tinubu to quit the importation of products manufactured by companies that the country.

He said Thursday said that if the multinational companies had considered the country to be bad for their company’s growth, they should not be allowed to make Nigeria a dumping ground for their products.

Oshiomhole, who was a guest speaker at Prof. Emeka Umerah’s Public Lecture organized in Solidarity with President Bola Tinubu’s Administration, said that companies like Michelin, Dunlop, Toyota and many others exited the soil of Nigeria, but still have their products flood the country.

He said the companies had moved to build another country’s economy by providing job opportunities for the citizens of such a country, and therefore should not be allowed to be reaping from Nigeria where they are not contributing anything to its GDP.
