Mbah presents N971bn 2025 Enugu Budget of Exponential Growth

Sylvia Kodilichukwu, Enugu Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu state, South-East Nigeria, has proposed a record N971billion budget for the 2025 fiscal year. He presented a bill on the budget to the State House of Assembly today. Presenting the document titled 'Budget of Exponential Growth and Inclusive Prosperity' on the floor of the Assembly, Mbah said the proposed estimates comprise N837.9billion, representing 86 per cent of the budget total, for capital expenditure, and a recurrent expenditure component of N133.1billion, representing only 14 per cent of the budget.
