JAMB Releases 2024 Supplementary UTME

By People&Politics The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Friday, announced the release of the results of candidates who participated in the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted in June, 2024. JAMB's spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, stated this in a release. The supplementary examination was conducted for 28,835 candidates, who were unable to be biometrically verified during the main 2024 UTME, it was gathered. By Justice Okon One Awal Yakubu was Thursday sentenced to three months' jail term for attempting to flee with an operative of the Federal Road Safety Corps who was interrogating him over dangerous driving. The Nigerian Communications Commission has announced that approximately 90% of peak utilization capacities of voice and data services have now been restored after the March 14, 2024, disruption due to cuts in undersea fibre optics along the coasts of Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal.
