Protests: Police Transfer 76 Russian-Flag-Flying Suspects To Abuja
By Hadiza Suleman Seventy-six suspects, including a foreign national, arrested during the August 1-10 #EndBagGovernance protests in some parts of Nigeria have been transferred to the Force Headquarters in Abuja for discreet investigation on charges of sedition. This was disclosed by the Kano State Police Command. According to the state commissioner of police, CP Salman Garba, the decision was in tune with the directive of the inspector-general of police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.
