National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been suspended by his party at the ward level in Kano State. The Edo State House of Assembly has impeached the state’s deputy governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu. The Assembly impeached the deputy governor on Monday after it adopted the report of a seven-member probe panel set up to probe allegations of gross misconduct against him. The impeachment follows months of speculation over his political future, after open disagreements with Governor Godwin Obaseki.
