The Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against Siminalayi Fubara, governor of the state. Against expectations on Monday, members of the State House of Assembly signed the impeachment notice against the governor.  24 of the 32 members of the Assembly were said to have been present during Monday’s plenary.
